About Meyrick Estate Management Ltd. and the Estates
The Company is responsible for the management of the property, business and personal interests of the family. The family's principal assets are three long-held, large estates located in Bournemouth, the New Forest and Anglesey. These assets are held in a group of c.40 entities which include trusts, companies, partnerships and personally held assets. While legal ownership is fragmented, beneficial interest is narrowly held.

For example, the Gervis Meyrick Estate in Bournemouth, comprises a large number of diverse property types including residential units, hotels and Bournemouth beach.

The Gervis Meyrick family drove the growth of Bournemouth from the 1840s and continue to be a key stakeholder in the emerging city.

The Group's principal business is the letting of property. Other important businesses include renewable energy production; farming; leisure; and, increasingly, property development and promotion. The Group is asset rich, cash generative, and has limited external borrowing.

The Group's focus is on taking opportunities within its own estate asset base and, as much of the urban estate is reversionary, it has an active program of buying-in and restructuring long leases
