We are looking for a Senior Support Worker to work within a new residential children's home environment. Our client provides excellent short, medium
- and long-term residential care and support to children and young people aged 5-12 years old, within a 4 bedroomed house. This is a very therapeutic service, with lots of specialist equipment / space.

As a Senior Support Worker you will be expected to encourage Children and Young people to achieve their full potential.

You will also be expected as Senior Support Worker to have access to a team of therapists, including a clinical psychologist, an occupational health therapist and a speech and language therapist.

As a Senior support worker you will be able todeal with challenging behaviours when needed, promote their independence and well-being and ensure the safety of young people and maintaining an up-to-date knowledge of the individual's; care plan, guidelines, reward system, and preferred method of communication

If you have:

NVQ or QCF Level 3 in Children and Young People
Essential.
Ability to work 10 sleepin shifts per month
Essential.
Experience in a residential children's home environment
Desirable.
