About the Position:

We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an HR Assistant.

In this role, the HR Assistant will provide administrative support to the HR Manager and assist with various HR functions.


Key Responsibilities (Including but not limited to):

  • Support managers with all aspects of the employment lifecycle
  • Advertise positions on various different job portals and with recruitment agencies
  • Conduct Right to Work checks
  • Send all prejoining paperwork to new staff
  • Prepare employment contracts
  • Ensure all new starter paperwork is completed in a timely manner
  • Onboard new starters
  • Ensure departmental inductions are conducted
  • Advise colleagues and managers on the Employment Handbook and assist with any general employment queries
  • Support time and attendance processes
  • Ensure the leaver process is followed
  • Make sure all employee data is up to date
  • File digitally and manually all employee paperwork
  • Maintain the highest level of data integrity by handling all colleague and company information with sensitivity and absolute confidentiality and ensure the adherence of GDPR regulations.
  • Support HR Manager with any projects or initiatives as needed

Key Skills Needed:


  • Experience of working in HR
  • Basic understanding of HR Functions and principles
  • Excellent organisational skills and multitasking ability
  • Strong attention to attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft office (including Teams, Excel and Word)
  • Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information

Salary:
From £23,000.00 per year


Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Stanmore: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:


  • Human resources: 2 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • CIPD (preferred)

Work Location:
In person
