Reed are pleased to be supporting a niche financial services business in Central Essex who are currently in need of a
collections administrator to assist the Servicing Department in a variety of administrative tasks, in order to supportthe smooth running of the department.

Salary - up to 25k

Hybrid - 3 days in the office pw

Key responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • To send correspondence to customers based on initial requests from the front line team.
  • Liaise with our customers via written correspondence and strive to answer any queries they may have.
  • Work towards deadlines for responding to customer enquiries and ensure that these are met.
  • To identify and log any complaints, and escalate as appropriate in line with company complaints handling procedure
  • Ensuring all relevant administration both external and internal is accurate and completed in a timely manner
  • To manage daily incoming post, coordinate team calendar and mailbox
  • To undertake Credit searches
  • The jobholder will work principally on his/her own initiative, although in close liaison with the Team Leader, planning & organising daily workload, in order to meet all objectives, within specified time scales.
  • Maintain and develop value adding relationships with both internal and external Servicing teams

Skills required:

  • Highly literate, with excellent written communication skills
  • Number literate
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Good degree of accuracy with high attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel
