  • JOB TITLE: Cloud Technology Strategist
  • SALARY: The salary banding for this role in London is £149,872 £176,320 and for Outside London is £ £142,380.
  • LOCATION: London, Edinburgh, Leeds or Manchester
  • HOURS: 35 hours, full time
  • WORKING PATTERN: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week, or 40% of our time, at one of our office sites.

  • In conjunction with Enabling Platform owners and senior partners across the Bank, they will build, evolve, and promote clear and comprehensive technology strategies that align with Group strategy and enable business teams to deliver the best customer outcomes. They are accountable for continually influencing, challenging, and supporting the Enabling Platform teams to build and align their strategic roadmaps, alongside acting as the voice of the customer and facing into all the Business Platforms to enable delivery of the business roadmaps, guiding Cloud product delivery.
  • You'll collaborate with key internal customers to build, maintain and evangelise clear and integrated technology strategies. You'll be analysing the needs of our business partners to understand the modern technology platform capabilities and improvements that they need to deliver effectively and efficiently for their customers.
  • Building and sustaining strong and productive partnerships with platforms and functions, promoting, communicating, and evangelising the Bank's strategies. Building relationships with third party vendors and cloud service providers, acting as a senior partner to help them evolve their products and services to better meet the needs and strategies of large enterprise customers such as the Group.
  • Identifying, creating, and prioritising multiskilled squads to support strategy activities, managing and building their capacity and capabilities as the organisation transitions from Traditional IT to a hybrid
- and public cloud-first approach. Lead improvements through the Agile project lifecycle. Identifying projects at risk and taking action to recover.
