We work with babies, children and young people through the rollercoaster of growing up in their families, schools and communities.


Purpose of the Role


Café Hope is a community café, which is part of Children North East, we are looking for a dynamic Community Café Assistant to support the day to day operation of the café.


The café is based within the Cowgate Centre and is an integral part of the Communities Service as part of the Community Family Hub.

We have a warm welcoming community space for local people/centre users, drawing the community together, and generating hope. The café offers a high quality customer experience, including coffee, tea, cakes and meals. It also provides opportunities for volunteering for individuals and organisations.

Please note this role is to work 20 hours per week and the salary is pro-rated accordingly.

£21,601.00-£21,756.00 per year
