2nd line Helpdesk Technician

Cardiff - £23,000


Looking for a Helpdesk Engineer with experience in 1st and 2nd line support to join a growing team who support UK wide clients and engineers within the retail sector.

You will be providing technical support to Field Engineers and Customers, offering remote support and resolution. Where required you will order replacement parts, coordinate site visits to meet SLA's.


Prior experience in a customer service role, ideally telephone based, and have solid I.T hardware, software repair and maintenance knowledge.


  • Provide IT support for internal and remote users
  • Solid Hardware and software installation and repair experience
  • Provide basic server support and monitoring
  • Carry out "ActiveDirectory" tasks including user accounts, groups and computers
  • Provide support on the 'Metrix' management system (training will be provided)
  • Install, assemble and configure computers, monitors, network infrastructure and peripheral items
  • Maintain a computerised asset register of all computerised fixed assets and software
  • Good documentation
Mon-Fri 37.5 hour. (+ weekend on call rota)


Salary:
£23,000 + company benefits.
