Description

Electricity North West is looking for a skilled and experienced HGV Test Van Driver to join our welcoming team in Blackburn.

This full-time HGV Test Van Driver role is based from our Whitebirk Depot and comes with a salary of up to £37,132.37 and excellent benefits.

You will be expected to drive any vehicle which requires an HGV licence, load and unload vehicle using forklift and vehicle mounted crane as required and ensure the load is safe and secure for transit.

In this HGV Operative role, you can expect to:

Drive the 'O' licence test van to site, set up traffic management and assist the engineers
Keep the vehicle in an acceptable state of cleanliness
Operate plant on site as required and in line with individual training and authorisation
Keep the vehicles in an acceptable state of cleanliness
Perform operator maintenance tasks and preuse checks daily
Customerfocused and have excellent verbal communication skills
Able to demonstrate an awareness of safety issues related to the role
Be willing to work outdoors in all weathers
Be selfmotivated and able to work unsupervised
Be flexible and prepared to work some antisocial hours
NRSWA would be advantageous.
