Capita is looking for a Securitisation expert to work for our Mortgage Services securitisation portfolios which are part of Capita Experience, Financial Services vertical.


You will play a key role in liaising with clients regarding the operational activities and requirements to operationalise securitisations and/or transfer of Legal Title, as well as liaison and support activities required by Ratings Agencies.


This presents an opportunity for an individual with strong mortgage securitisation experience to have significant influence on, and communication with, the end client, managing the operational process concerning securitisation activities, with the opportunity to mould and develop the function in the mid to long term.


It could also suit an individual with broader mortgage industry expertise that includes securitisation, who is seeking to progress their career into a more senior position specialising in this area.


This will be a role primary based remotely, with some travel to offices in the UK, predominantly Plymouth, London and Manchester.

What will you deliver?

  • Ensure we meet all regulatory reporting requirements specific to securitisations and share knowledge, and that we meet all other contractual and servicing reporting requirements.
  • Close liaison with the Board of the legal title holding entity to ensure responsibilities are carried out in accordance with contractual obligations / beneficial title holder instructions.
  • Ensure that policies and processes reflect the Servicer contractual obligations.
  • Support the creation of required payment configuration model including set up of collection accounts aiding the transfer of funds to the investment account.
  • Build relationship with Cash Managers ensuring their needs are met and maintained to allow distribution of funds in line with contractual agreements. This includes the development of required cash flow reports, arrears, loss and recoveries information and any other information on an as and when basis.
  • Respond to Cash Managers and Clients with daytoday queries.
  • Review and support the approval of contract papers, in particular the Servicing Agreement, (including Service Specification) and any other as required.
  • Liaise with relevant contacts as required to support Audit and Due Diligence activities.
  • Liaise and negotiate with 3rd party suppliers as required (e.g., BACS, CRA's, CIC and other ECO systems).
