Description

Our client is a forktruck company based in Rayleigh, Essex and pride themselves with being in the business for over 35 years offering a high quality service to their growing customer base.

They are looking for a Trainee Forktruck Engineer.

Your responsibilities:

You will be trained by our resident site engineer to carry out Preventative Maintenance Servicing on Forklift Trucks and to assist in other areas;
Whilst experience is not essential, good communication skills and a positive attitude definitely are;
Communicate with engineers and create reports;
Driving company vans when required (if you hold a current driving license);
Delivering parts to engineers;
General workshop and yard duties;
Must be prepared to buy your own tools if you are successful;
As stated a driving licence would be a bonus but not essential

Benefits:

4 weeks paid holidays plus paid Bank Holidays;
Company uniform provided;
Onsite training will be given;
Overtime available

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent

Salary:
£ £11.50 per hour - £21,800.00-£23,920.00 per year
