We are a family-run business thriving in the engineering sector. Our commitment to quality and innovation has been the cornerstone of our success. We are currently seeking a dedicated machine operator factory worker.Key Responsibilities:
1.
Machine Operation:
Operate various finish machines and other heavy machinery safely and efficiently. Trainees will receive hands-on training.
2.
Quality Assurance:
Perform regular checks to ensure machinery is producing to the highest quality standards. Report any discrepancies or malfunctions promptly.
3.
Maintenance:
Assist in routine maintenance and troubleshooting of machinery to minimize downtime.
4.
Teamwork:
Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth operation and meet production targets. Share knowledge and best practices.
5.
Safety Compliance:
Adhere strictly to health and safety regulations and company policies to ensure a safe working environment.
6.
Record Keeping:
Maintain accurate records of operations, including production volumes and maintenance activities.
Requirements:
- A good level of English proficiency for effective communication.
- Mechanical aptitude and interest in machine operation (specific training will be provided for trainees).
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and work with precision.
- Reliable transportation to commute to the workplace.
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred for skilled operators, but not essential for trainees.

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent
Pay:
£24,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
Benefits:
- Onsite parking
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends
Supplemental pay types:
- Yearly bonus

- Manufacturing: 1 year (preferred)
