SEND Teaching Assistant

Location:
Ockbrook, Derby

Pay:
£80-£90 per day (PAYE only)

DegreeSix are searching for an experienced SEN teaching assistant for a small local infant school in Ockbrook, which has around 150 students.

This role is supporting a pupil in year 2 1:1, who has statements of ASD and ADHD.

This is a full-time role from 8:30am-3:30pm, Monday to Friday. Part time is not considered for this role.

The Role:

Working with children who need extra support with their academic and social skills
Assisting with tailored individualised educational programs
Proving support 1:1
Presenting feedback/student progress to class teacher and parents

To be successful:

SEN experience is preferred in a school or similar setting
Experience working with children
Patience and passionate about supporting students with special needs
