Primary School Teaching Assistant in Worcester

Key Responsibilities:

Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons, tailored to the needs of individual students.
Provide oneonone or small group support to students who require additional assistance, ensuring their progress and inclusion.
Collaborate with the teaching team to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
Help with classroom preparation, resource organization, and maintaining a safe and orderly classroom setting.
Assist with the implementation of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and support students with special educational needs.
Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues, promoting effective communication and teamwork.

Qualifications and Skills Required:

Level 3 qualification
A minimum of 6 months previous experience working with children in an educational setting
A DBS on the update service or issued in the last 12 months
Safeguarding and Prevent training certificate
Strong communication skills and the ability to connect with students of varying ages and backgrounds.
Patient, compassionate, and adaptable, with a genuine passion for helping children succeed.
Ability to work collaboratively with teaching staff, parents, and external professionals.
Proficiency in [relevant software/tools], if applicable.
A commitment to maintaining a safe and inclusive learning environment.
