Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons, tailored to the needs of individual students.
- Provide oneonone or small group support to students who require additional assistance, ensuring their progress and inclusion.
- Collaborate with the teaching team to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
- Help with classroom preparation, resource organization, and maintaining a safe and orderly classroom setting.
- Assist with the implementation of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and support students with special educational needs.
- Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues, promoting effective communication and teamwork.
Qualifications and Skills Required:
- Level 3 qualification
- A minimum of 6 months previous experience working with children in an educational setting
- A DBS on the update service or issued in the last 12 months
- Safeguarding and Prevent training certificate
- Strong communication skills and the ability to connect with students of varying ages and backgrounds.
- Patient, compassionate, and adaptable, with a genuine passion for helping children succeed.
- Ability to work collaboratively with teaching staff, parents, and external professionals.
- Proficiency in [relevant software/tools], if applicable.
- A commitment to maintaining a safe and inclusive learning environment.
