Priory Hospital Dewsbury is a purpose built 32 bedded locked service, supporting two different service user groups:
Hartley Ward focuses upon the active rehabilitation of men with mental health issues.
Jubilee Ward supports men with Neurodegenerative disorder and behaviours that challenge.
Priory Hospital Mill Garth is a 21-bedded high dependency rehabilitation unit. The hospital focuses on active rehabilitation and recovery for those with a range of mental health disorders.
This is covering 2 sites
Dewsbury
Mill Garth - Leeds
2.5 days per week at each site
To manage and be responsible for the operation of the Hospital including Estates and Facilities. Directly Line Manage
Housekeeping, Admin, Medical Secretaries, Maintenance, Reception & Catering and be part of the Hospital Senior Management
Team.
To manage and develop Support Services, ensuring that the highest quality services are provided within budget.
Manages the maintenance of all the hospital's assets, including the building, within the Capital Expenditure Budget. Alongside Hospital Director and Regional Finance Manager, identifies budgetary needs (both operational and capital)
and puts together proposals to be sent to MD.
Ensures that functional spends are correctly managed within agreed budgets, as well as identifying andflagging any potential overspends on a weekly basis.
Knowledge/skills/Education- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Line Management experience
- Experience in project management, ideally with a qualification
- Good organisation and time management
- Comfortable working within tight deadlines
- Ability to handle ambiguity
- First class customer service skills
The post holder will ideally have experience in a similar role within Hospitality or Healthcare, a track record of direct Line
Management responsibility/Senior Management history, a H&S qualification such as IOSH or NEBOSH and experience of Budget
Management.
