A busy architectural practice based near Wapping is looking to recruit an organised and personable Office Assistant to join their team

We are looking for a proactive and hands on Office Assistant to assist us with running a tidy and efficient studio.

This is a busy and varied role with duties including:

Making sure our space, which includes our kitchen and social area, is set up for breakfast, healthy snacks and weekly staff lunches;

- setting up catering for internal meetings, staff socials and lunch time training sessions;
- making refreshments for meetings;
- ordering stock for the kitchen and print area;
- looking after/watering the studios plants;
- ensuring the print area and studio floors are always well stocked, clean and tidy;
- sorting post;
- reception & front of house cover;
- answering telephones & message taking;
- photocopying;
- binding;
- filing;
- running errands
- lifting and carrying heavy goods (e.g. stationary, furniture, boxes etc);
- assist with recycling initiatives;

In this busy and varied role, you must be prepared to take on any task or errand from answering the phones, making tea, to lifting items such as stationary, furniture, and archive boxes.

About you:

Educated to degree level
Have some previous work experience office, hospitality or retail
Have great communication skills
A good knowledge of Word/Excel
Be Immediately available or on short notice
