Description

Talentedge are actively recruiting for an Assistant Accountant for a leading TV Production company paying £35-40k per annum with hybrid working in Central London.

Duties include:

Processing purchase invoices and sales invoices and tracking balances
Processing credit cards transactions and employee expense claims
Processing bank payments and receipts, preparing bank reconciliation
Payments to suppliers etc via online banking platform
Completing VAT returns
Processing payroll (provided by external payroll provider)
Processing monthly journals such as accruals and prepayments
Assisting with the process of monthly financial reporting (cashflow, profit and loss and balance sheet)
Assisting with Statutory audit (performed by external auditors)
Assisting with preparation of P11Ds (prepared by external accountancy firm)
Performing reconciliations to seek resolution to accounting errors or inaccuracies
Performing the above for production companies in postproduction stage
Knowledge of accounting software MS Dynamics/Navision
A minimum of 2 years experience in a transactional finance role
AAT or equivalent qualification
Previous experience from film & TV industry is welcomed but not required
Sufficient knowledge of Microsoft Office
