We are looking for a Lead Generator to join our MTC Training team.

MTC Training's vision is to develop a training capability that embeds adaptable skills, knowledge and behaviours that future proof UK manufacturing.

Aligning technical content identified in MTC's core business to our commercial and upskilling portfolio is at the core of our strategy.

The role of the Lead Generator will be to support MTC Training to achieve commercial and apprenticeship targets.

Key Activities:

Support the wider BD team to generate new business through lead generation:
Data purchasing and outbound prospecting
Attending events
Using appropriate social media sites such as LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter
Work with marketing to ensure got correct collateral to support campaigns:
Identify new clients
Deliver the campaign to convert new clients
Support the creation of new collateral, working with existing clients
Contribute to an overall target of the BD team through lead generation activities managed through KPIs
Understand the full product portfolio
Support with reporting metrics and communication of progress against targets

As the Lead Generator at MTC Training, your role will play a significant impact into the growth of the organisation.

Through utilising a variety of business development techniques, you will provide sales and marketing support in building a pipeline of leads, to support MTC Training identify new clients for our training programmes.

About The MTC

The Manufacturing Technology Centre (MTC) was established in 2010 as an independent Research & Technology Organisation (RTO) with the objective of bridging the gap between academia and industry - often referred to as 'the valley of death'.

It represents one of the largest public sector investments in UK manufacturing and, after four years of planning and a 16 month build, the facility opened at Ansty Park in Coventry at the end of 2011.

In December 2011, there were 16 industrial members, 44 staff and just a few key pieces of equipment in the 'workshop'.

Over the following 10+ years the MTC's rapid growth has seen the expansion of our campus with the construction of three more facilities, including the opening of the Advanced Manufacturing Training Centre and the National Centre for Additive Manufacturing.

Our role has also increased to cover not only R&D but also Training, Advanced Manufacturing Management and Factory Design.

We now have over 800 talented employees working with us.

During this time we have helped hundreds of companies across a range of industries and over 100 of them have become members of the MTC.
