We are one of the busiest unitary Highway Authorities outside London and this role will be central to supporting the Team Manager and Head of Service withing our Policy & Strategy team.


You will develop transport and travel strategies, policies, projects and programmes that will help deliver the city's and council's wider objectives and priorities.


To work across a broad geography and with a wide range of partners, stakeholders and disciplines in order to ensure that transport and travel remain key elements of all policies, strategies and projects that involve, or affect, the city.

This role is part of a newly expanded team that will respond flexibly and efficiently to the growing development demands of the city.

Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is less than 37 hours or term-time only.
