Metalis are working with a nationwide company that provide professional maintenance, repairs, modernisation and new installations within the mobility industry.

I'm currently looking for a Trainee Service Engineer to join their team based in the North Eastof England.

The Role:

As a trainee engineer, you'll be working closely with a qualified engineer attending to various sites all over the North East of England with the potential of stay-overs in Scotland, carrying out repairs, installations, services & general maintenance.

Electrical Graduate or similar (preferably)
Have a mechanical background
Willing to work overtime & stay over night if and when required
Hard working and wants to progress

The Benefits:

Will be put through a NVQ 3 Service Repairs qualification after initial training is passed
Once qualified, will be supplied with a company van & fuel card
On the job training
After 5 years of service you can progress to be an inspector/tester

Salary & Hours:

Starting basic salary of £25,000 (dependant on experience), once qualified this will be raised to £30,000
Working hours are 8am5pm Monday
Friday
Once qualified, you will be put on a 24 hour callout rota, in which your salary will reflect, £40,000£42,000
