Reporting to the FD and managing one direct report you will have ownership over all aspects of tax including compliance, reporting, tax risk management and strategy

Key responsibilities include:

Partnering with the business including covering major transactions (restructurings, prospective acquisitions and funding), as well as day to day operational tax queries (VAT rates, business contracts etc)
Develop tax strategy and risk management plan, with a focus on SAO readiness and tax process improvements through technology
Management of compliance (excluding payroll), including VAT and CIS processes, and SDLT and employer tax compliance matters
Manage projects such as SAO, Tax Strategy Policy, developing HMRC CCM relationship and managing Business Risk Reviews
