Supplier Quality Inspector/Expeditor
Job description:
Main Accountabilities:
- Identifies and leads implementation efforts of Supplier Quality objectives that improve quality, reduce lead time and cost of TechnipFMC products/services.
- Attends Witness and Hold points on behalf of TechnipFMC, performs inspections at the suppliers as part of source inspection and drop shipment processes
- Execute Enhanced Surveillance and Expediting processes at the suppliers
- Contributes in Continuous Improvement initiatives to enhance TechnipFMC processes
- Conducts HSE walkthroughs and assessments, promotes HSE culture in supply chain
You are meant for this job if:
Essential Skills:
- Substantial industry experience in production, technical or quality departments
- Time management prioritizing business critical issues to ensure agreed delivery dates and terms are maintained and the ability to manage deadlines and prioritize workload
Reporting skills:
- Good understanding of engineering documentation, the ability to read and understand engineering drawings, documents and procedures to improve and maintain quality and deliverables
- Shows evidence of good organization and project planning skills.
Desirable skills:
- Experience in oil and gas industry.
- Support multiple projects and deal with conflicting product line demands in a controlled and objective manner whilst maintaining a proactive attitude
- NDE, Welding experience and certifications
- Ability to lead change and independently create and implement functional and cost effective processes that meet complex specification requirements.
