As a Post Industrial Plastics Consultant you will be assisting in the development of the MBA Granulation Business through direct and effective market penetration, promotion and the development of New Business opportunities.

Supporting Company Growth through both agreed revenue and ambitious growth targets. With an active contribution to measurable input through the P&L of the Granulation Division, including existing and future sites.

Providing Commercial acumen and know-how whilst advising on strategic direction to the business unit and supporting the growth and development of the overall business.


What you will be doing:

  • Through New Business generation source circa 160 MT or greater a month of monostream material (Crates / Totes / PP Pallets / ABS reels) into MBA Duddeston to allow the development of additional sites.
  • Provide expertise and guidance on establishing a Midlands "Super-Site" including the integration of separation equipment from Dover to allow >5,000 MT a year to be processed.
  • Identify new commercial leads and opportunities where recycled polymers can be used to replace virgin equivalents.
  • Target and initiate new business partnerships with other companies whilst identifying, generating and developing openings to promote and expand business opportunities for the site with new suppliers and customers.
  • High customer presence with regular visits and customer contact.
  • Work with the agreed pricing strategy with the goal of exceeding target pricing by maximising the margin for the company and the customer.
  • Understand and actively promote Company values by adopting methods of working that promote these values daily.
  • Build effective, longterm relationships with wider team based on trust and respect.
  • Assist in creating an environment that promotes constructive challenge to continually improve performance and maximize potential and contribution, through 'best practice', good business ethics and cultural awareness.
  • Keep abreast and report on market trends, developments and competitive activities.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction for new customers to develop and maximise business opportunities.
  • Represent the business at appropriate sales/trade/ customer events.
  • Attending team meetings and team briefings when required
  • Enforce adherence to legal guidelines and inhouse policies.
