  • To assist in conducting checks for existing members of staff (e.g. DBS renewals, right to work status, and professional registration).
  • To manage routine enquiries and provide the day to day administration function of the department, processing general correspondence as necessary.
  • To be responsible for the maintenance of the department's scanning and filing systems including recruitment, general and staff filing systems.
  • To attend and assist at Recruitment Open Days, which at times may be at other Trust locations.
  • To be responsible, in conjunction with other Human Resources staff, for ensuring that all recruitment systems are fully utilised and adhered to throughout the recruitment process
  • To receive visitors to the office in a professional manner ensuring they are given accurate information/documentation as requested, or refer them to the appropriate person/department
  • Deal effectively and promptly with incoming enquiries, in line with the Data Protection Act
  • Ensure Disclosure and Barring Checks are completed as appropriate, referring to policies in order to ascertain appropriate checks required
  • Verify ID in line with Trust policies and current legislation
