Description

STEM Recruitment are currently looking for a bindery operative to join one of our clients at their busy site in Dalkeith.

As part of a team, ensure the bindery plan is met and exceeded.


MUST BE AVAILABLE FOR IMMEDIATE START

  • Set up and operation of machinery to ensure maximum production efficiency to meet factory plan and schedule.
  • Ensure the equipment is operated at optimum speed for each particular process, paying particular attention to safety and quality.
  • Following work instructions to ensure the finished product meets customer specifications.
  • Carry out quality checks on finished product following the company quality processes.
  • Carry out routine cleaning and maintenance of machinery.
  • Adopt a thorough approach to health and safety issues and report any issues on relevant documentation.
  • Maintain and practice good housekeeping your area of work by ensuring it is clean, tidy and well ordered and has the layout appropriate for effective manufacture.
  • Report issues or machine faults to the engineering team.

Rotation of 2 shifts:
morning 6am-2pm and back shift 2pm-10pm


Job Types:
Full-time, Temporary contract


Salary:
£10.42 per hour
