We are currently recruiting for a Burner/ Metal Sorter to join our Family run business.

The job role will contain a variety of duties, mainly using oxy/propane torch to cut a variety of materials including mild steel and titanium.

There will also be cutting required by plasma cutter, stihl saw.

We are looking for an individual with a good attitude who is punctual and polite and willing to learn new skills.

Any training needed will be provided by ourselves. We are creating a work force of multi skilled employees here with a good team ethic and attitude.


Duties:

• Oxy/Propane flame cutting
• Manual Labour
• Sorting/Processing metals
• Keeping equipment clean and well maintained
• General yard duties
• Overtime may be required

Skills/ Requirements

• Experienced Oxy/Propane cutting
• Punctual and polite
• Good attitude
• Can work well in a team or individually
• Able to work in all weather conditions due to this role being indoor and outdoors

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Working Hours :
Monday to Friday 7:45am - 4:45pm (Excluding Overtime).

Overtime:
Overtime will be paid for anything above 45 hours per week.

Brake times :
Break times are paid 2x 30 mins break (10am - 10:30am / 1pm - 1:30pm).


Salary:
£10.80 per hour (basic) £16.20(overtime).

An attendance bonus of £50 will be paid monthly for 95% attendance or £100.00 for 100% attendance.

Holiday entitlement : 28 days including bank holidays, The following additional holiday will be granted upon the corresponding service length:

• 2 Days
• 2 Years
• 4 days 3 years
• 6 Days 4 Years
• 8 Days 5+ Years
