_Nursery Cook/Housekeeper_Nursery cook/House keeper required to worked 32.5 hours a week doing 6.5 hours shifts Monday to Friday between the hours of 9.00am and 4.30pm at our Rubery setting.

We are looking for a highly motivated individual that can work using their own initiative as well as part of a friendly, well established team.
Experience and practice
You will be responsible for the overall food preparation, cooking and serving of healthy, nutritious food to children at various times during the day.
You will need to have excellent knowledge and proven practice of dietary requirements, allergens and allergies, food hygiene, cleanliness and at least 1 years previous experience of working in a professional kitchen is essential.
You will be required to follow safer food better business practices and liaise with local EHO inspectors and other regulatory inspectors.
You will be able follow all safe working practices to comply with the companies policies and procedures.You will be responsible for stock control, food and equipment ordering, accepting deliveries and storing food away appropriately and safely.
Qualifications
Food Hygiene Level 2 essential and Level 3 desirable. This can be obtained through the nursery.
Recognised catering qualification desirable
Allergy Awareness training desirable
Safeguarding training desirable
Paediatric first aid desirable
All the above training can be done through the nursery and is compulsory for all staff.
At times you will be expected to speak to families about the children's dietary requirements as well as taking part in cooking sessions with the children.
As nursery cook, you will be an integral part of the nursery team and will be required to attend training, staff meetings and supervisions.
