About you


We are looking for someone who has good communication, customer service, organisation skills alongside a great personality You will be reliable, committed and motivated to work and progress.

This is because you will be talking to a variety of patients who will each have individual needs, so these types of skills are very important to us.

We know that studying at college and university isn't for everyone.

An apprenticeship offers you a great opportunity to gain a qualification whilst earning a wage and without accumulating the debts associated with study.

Real work experience is crucial as you start to build your career and by the end of your apprenticeship you will have at least two years' of working in a nurturing environment.


GCSEs at grades C/4 or above (or equivalent) in maths and English are desired but not essential.

What are the duties of the role?

  • Support with patient consultations
  • Dispensing medicine
  • General admin
  • Dealing with over the counter and phone enquiries
  • Use of the computer and the pharmacy specific software
  • Checking off and unpacking orders
  • Stock management
  • Date checking of stock
  • Processing NHS prescriptions

All training is delivered remotely by Woodspeen Training to the workplace via Teams. There is no travelling involved for training.
