Description

Dewcare Recruitment is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced person to join our small team in Leeds in our commitment to feeding, clothing and providing mental health services to most vulnerable.

Responsibilities:_

Assist the Head Chef with preparing and serving meals each day
Assist the Head Chef with ensuring ongoing kitchen compliance with food and general health and safety (e.g. fridge/freezer temperatures, records of food origin, first aid boxes)
In partnership with the Head Chef, accountable for the ongoing cleanliness, maintenance and organisation of all kitchen facilities, including refrigeration, pantries, storage and equipment
Assist the Head Chef in ensuring the kitchen is meticulously cleaned at the end of each day and organised for the following day's service
Ensuring all ingredients and cooked foods are labelled in accordance with food safety and hygiene standards
Ability to effectively and efficiently operate in a fastpaced kitchen responsible for producing 200 meals in a 2hour window
