Description

This role provides a fantastic opportunity to become expert in the delivery and support of the technology platforms that support collaboration, and using these skills to make a significant impact on the work of the College.

The two people joining the College will report to the Collaboration and Office Platforms Manager, and together this small team will be responsible for providing AV and Collaboration support, advice, and solutions across the College.

You will provide support for the recently installed modern AV equipment that supports the in-person and hybrid events held by the College.

You will have some experience of supporting platforms like Teams and Zoom for meetings and larger events.

The College collaborates extensively through hosting a range of meetings and events.

These are a mixture of face-to-face, hybrid, and purely online events, requiring the support of the in-house AV solutions, as well as the conferencing platforms that allow the remote participation of attendees.

You will also provide advice and support for the College Microsoft 365 SharePoint and Teams environment, supporting and improving resources for both internal use and collaboration with our members and other external partners.

You will have some experience of supporting platforms like Teams, Box and Google for Collaboration scenarios.

You will work closely with your colleagues in IS and the wider staff team, ensuring your work is in line with IS standards and assisting with training and upskilling in the collaboration solutions.

We only recruit the best and in return for your commitment the College offers an attractive salary and benefits.

This role is mainly office based, due to the nature of supporting live events, and the College AV equipment in meeting rooms.

However, some home-based working will be possible for the Collaboration aspects of the role assuming sufficient AV cover available at the College.
