Mechanical Design Engineer - Remote Working - Potential Long Term Projects

We are working with a company who design and build the most sustainable electric motors from their facility in the UK.

The organisation specialise in delivering electric powertrain technologies to world markets.
The company supply to a range of markets including the automotive sector. Working with manufacturers across, heavy commercial vehicles, passenger vehicles and off highway vehicles.
We are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join the team on a contract basis, working remotely.

You will produce mechanical designs, primarily 2D drawings and 3D models of electrical components, cables, harness routing and drawings of harness support structures for a variety projects.

If you have the following experience:
Design of Powertrain & Drivetrain parts
Catia, Autodesk Inventor Experience
Experience with Cast or Machined Components, Sheetmetal and Piping & Cable Design
Ability to support design analysis activities
Knowledge of Automotive (or related industry) Electrical systems
Good communication skills
Strong planning and organisation skills
Self-motivated with drive and initiative
