Part Time Accounts Assistant / St Helens / Excellent Benefits / Leading Organisation
NC Associates are working with a leading international company based in St Helens, who are looking for a Part Time Accounts Assistant to join their small finance team to cover maternity leave for 12 months.
Duties
- Ensure purchase invoices are processed in a timely and accurate manner to the correct general ledger account and cost centre
- Processing employee expenses
- Chasing dealers for payment & ensuring the sales ledger is kept tidy
- Posting and allocating cash received against the sales ledger
- Upload weekly invoice file to wholesale finance company
- Prepare weekly overdue report for financial controller
- Month end intercompany reconciliations
- Prepare month end bad debt provision
- Analyse & post credit card statements
- Various month end reports including sales & purchase ledger reports, fuel analysis & cost analysis
- Chasing staff for monthly mileage and updating records
- Updating staff holiday spreadsheet
- Any other ad hoc tasks as and when required
Essential Experience Required
- Purchase & Sales Ledger experience
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong organisational skills
