Part Time Accounts Assistant / St Helens / Excellent Benefits / Leading Organisation


NC Associates are working with a leading international company based in St Helens, who are looking for a Part Time Accounts Assistant to join their small finance team to cover maternity leave for 12 months.


Duties

  • Ensure purchase invoices are processed in a timely and accurate manner to the correct general ledger account and cost centre
  • Processing employee expenses
  • Chasing dealers for payment & ensuring the sales ledger is kept tidy
  • Posting and allocating cash received against the sales ledger
  • Upload weekly invoice file to wholesale finance company
  • Prepare weekly overdue report for financial controller
  • Month end intercompany reconciliations
  • Prepare month end bad debt provision
  • Analyse & post credit card statements
  • Various month end reports including sales & purchase ledger reports, fuel analysis & cost analysis
  • Chasing staff for monthly mileage and updating records
  • Updating staff holiday spreadsheet
  • Any other ad hoc tasks as and when required

Essential Experience Required

  • Purchase & Sales Ledger experience
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong organisational skills
