Responsibilities:


  • Assist the lead teacher in implementing educational programs and activities for students.
  • Provide support to students with special needs, including those with autism.
  • Collaborate with the lead teacher to create and maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Assist in developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) for students.
  • Support students in their academic, social, and emotional growth.
  • Provide oneonone or small group tutoring to students who require additional assistance.
  • Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Help supervise students during lunchtime, recess, and other noninstructional periods.
  • Assist with classroom management and behavior management strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience working with children, preferably in an educational setting.
  • Knowledge of special education practices and strategies.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students.
  • Patience, empathy, and a passion for working with children.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

£83.00-£100.00 per day
