Sessional Lecturers Music (033/2223)

£21.97 per hour

Do you have a passion for education with plenty of enthusiasm to develop and inspire the next generation? We have an opportunity for motivated individuals to join our sessional bank of staff, teaching on a brand new Music course as we continue to develop our Performing Arts provision.

Teaching on our Level 3 Music Performance course you may deliver projects on composition, music theory, history of music, influential genres, stage presence, personal promotion and collaborative practice.

As a Sessional Lecturer in Music, you should:


  • Hold a relevant Level 3 qualification in Music or a relevant discipline:

Hold a teaching qualification or be willing to work towards one:


  • Be able to evidence continuing professional development

Ideally you should also be able to demonstrate:


  • Industry Expertise in the Music industry:
-
Experience of teaching Music related courses to a range of levels:


  • Experience of teaching a range of learners from 16-19 years and adults from a wide range of social and ethnic backgrounds
