Providing a truly complete service, the Director, Social Housing, will cater for our customers' and prospects' every banking need.

Our team has anestablished reputation in the social housing sector and the Bank is keen to grow and expand our presence in this specialist and niche area of lending.

Day to day you'll­

  • Be a key member of the team primarily accountable for assisting in generating and optimising income and Return on Equity, focused solely on the Social Housing sector.
  • Assist in the relationship management and sourcing of new high quality customers and in strengthening the brand in the local and national marketplace.
  • Evaluate and generate business opportunities with existing and new customers and assist in the conversion thereof.
  • Display strong organisational skills and effective relationship management so as to maintain excellent levels of customer service and provide new to bank customers with a seamless onboarding experience, working collaboratively with colleagues across thebusiness.

There are a few essentials you need to bring

  • Knowledge of and obvious passion for the social housing sector;
  • An eye for detail with strong analytical skills and ability to confidently interpretate financial accounts and other relevant information including complex loan agreements.
  • Strong credit assessment and report writing skills are crucial.
  • In depth understanding of compliance and risk as it relates to the role and the sector.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to influence and support decision making and getting things done right first time for the customer.

The following would be brilliant...(but not essential)

  • Connections in the sector and a willingness to network nationally;
  • Experience of collaborating with other areas of the sector including potential customers and related professionals.
  • Moody's accreditation held or other relevant qualification.
