Catch Scotland Limited offers transitional care and learning experiences tailored to meeting the needs of Young Adults with a range of Additional Support Needs between the ages of many of whom are care experienced).


With a robust and expanding staff team, we are looking to recruit an
HR Assistant to help with the day to day running of the HR function providing assistance across the recruitment process, compliance checks and assisting with all general HR issues and queries.


Responsibilities will include:


  • Assisting the HR Manager through disciplinary, grievance and performance management.
  • Assisting with updating current policies and procedures and creating new ones as and when required.
  • Assisting the recruitment process inline with 'Safer Recruitment for Better Recruitment' guidelines.
  • Updating staff files on inhouse system and managing the new start process end to end.
  • Administration of all HR related paperwork, including producing letters and uploading forms.
  • Assisting with and new and recurring SSSC registrations.
  • Assisting with the processing of new starters, leavers and contractual changes.
  • Assisting with arranging internal training and managing training attendance records.
  • Assisting with a variety of HR and employment related enquiries in a professional and timely manner from employees and management.
  • Assisting with carrying out PDRs and uploading onto staff files.
  • Supporting the HR Manager with day to day administration.

Qualifications and skills:


  • Minimum 2 years experience in an HR Assistant role.
  • Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills, positive attitude and strong work ethic.
  • Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with employees at all levels.
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to coordinate and prioritise tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of HR administration.
  • Excellent working knowledge of Excel and MS Office.

Job Type:
Part-time


Pay:
£18,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 12 per week
