Job Title:
IT Support Engineer - 2nd Line Support


Location:
London


Salary:
£30,000 - £35,000 + Healthcare, Car Allowance, Paid Certifications

  • Provide 2nd line technical support to customers, with a focus on excellent customer service
  • Monitor and maintain the company's IT systems, ensuring that all areas are kept up to date and secure
  • Respond to customer queries, requests and incidents in a timely and efficient manner
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues in a timely and efficient manner
  • Work closely with other departments, such as the sales team, to ensure customer requirements are met
  • Ensure that all customer issues are logged and recorded accurately
  • Maintain an uptodate knowledge of the latest technologies and products

Technical Skills:


  • Knowledge of Windows Server operating systems, including Windows Server 2008/2012/201
  • Knowledge of Networking technologies, including LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.
  • Knowledge of Virtualisation technologies, including VMware, Hyper-V, etc.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Exchange and Office 36
  • Knowledge of Backup technologies, including Backup Exec, Veeam, etc.
  • Knowledge of Firewall technologies, including SonicWALL, Cisco ASA, etc.
  • Knowledge of Storage technologies, including SAN, NAS, etc.
  • Knowledge of Enterprise Anti-Virus/Malware solutions
  • Knowledge of scripting languages and PowerShell
