Bridge Recruitment Ltd, acting as an Employment Business, has a fantastic opportunity for a Payroll Administrator to join one of their clients based in York in an ongoing temporary assignment Within the role, you'll provide first line Payroll Support forthe company.

What's in it for you?
- £12.74 per hour

  • 35 hour working work (Monday to Friday) with flexible hours between 08:00 18:00
  • Primarily remote work, though you will be required to attend the office for meetings
Your role as a Payroll Administrator

  • Accurately processing timesheets, expenses, absence data, starters, leavers and any other changes onto the payroll system
  • Assist in the inputting and checking of monthly payroll data
  • Dealing with straightforward Payroll queries, referring more complex queries to the Payroll Officers
  • Assisting with balancing / reconciliation checks for Payroll
  • Assisting with payslip distribution
  • Undertaking routine tasks such as filing, scanning and photocopying, etc
About you

  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail, and the ability to effectively prioritise tasks
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly accurate with strong literacy and numeracy skills
  • Understanding of payroll process and legislation
  • Familiar with the use of HR software packages
Due to the nature of the role previous experience with Payroll would prove advantageous, though it isn't essential.
