Our client is a c. £400 million turnover business and you will be based at the Nottingham head office. It has an extremely positive, inclusive and friendly environment.


Description


As Payroll Officer, you will be working as part of a supportive team of 15 and will be reporting into one of the Payroll Team Leaders (who has progressed in the business from Payroll Officer).

The payroll team is responsible for processing the payroll forc. 14,000 employees. Your role will be very varied as you will be dealing with payroll from cradle to grave.

Your duties will include, but will not be limited to:


  • Running 4 weekly, weekly and monthly payrolls.
  • Statutory calculations e.g. NI, SSP, SMP and tax.
  • Dealing with payroll queries and payment requests.
  • Producing payroll reports.
  • Liaising with staff and line managers.
  • Running BACs reports.
  • Inputting annual leave.
  • Managing the on and off boarding of starters and leavers.
  • Managing tax filings and HMRC pay queries.

Profile

  • Must have experience of working in payroll
  • Must have experience of using Excel

- £23,500 - £25,000 dependent upon experience
