We're currently looking for an Officer on a full -time basis for a 12 month fixed term contract. The position sits within the Secretariat team in our London office (hybrid working available).


The job
Reporting to the Secretariat - Manager, on a day-to-day basis, you'll be involved in the following:

  • Responsible for supporting all meeting arrangements, such as attendance, logistics, platforms and venues to a consistently high standard across all key governance groups.
  • Support ACCA's Officer team to undertake their commitments, including a rolling diary of engagements, ensuring briefings are provided working with relevant teams and any travel arrangements are booked.
  • Provide backfill support as required for the Executive Assistant to the Chief Executive.
  • Manage the ACCA Council intranet site and engagement plan.
  • Provide support to the Secretariat Manager in managing all operational areas for the Secretariat, including budgets, related expenses, contract management, business continuity, GDPR and privacy compliance.

The person

We're looking for someone who:

  • Has excellent interpersonal skills and is able to work with colleagues at all levels, in addition to external stakeholders.
  • Possess a high standard of communication skills, both oral and written, with a high attention to detail.
  • Highly motivated, proactive, confident and enthusiastic, with the ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to handle large volumes of work, prioritise effectively and work in an agile way as part of a team to deliver to strict deadlines.
  • Ability to handle confidential material with discretion and diplomacy.
