We've got an exciting opportunity to join our EMEIA Tax Centre (ETC) team who are recognised as leaders in delivering exceptional client service across borders.

ETC provides specialist tax, business and technology expertise to address our clients' most pressing challenges in an exciting, dynamic tax and business environment, through a broad range of innovative service offerings.

Our team in London acts as a single point of contact between the client and the EY global network for all Global Compliance and Reporting (GCR) services.

We help multinational clients manage the increasing regulatory and legislative demands they face in fulfilling their statutory compliance and reporting requirements.


Your key responsibilities
You will work on multi-country, multi-service engagements across a varied global portfolio of clients ranging in size and complexity.

You will be looking after the contracting and transition processes, supporting the clients' finance and tax transformation, managing client relationships, helping with the development of our service offerings and ensuring exceptional client service throughout the life of our contracts.

In addition, you will support business development by working on key proposals, preparation of documentation and fees.


Skills and attributes for success

  • Supporting the coordination of multijurisdiction engagements, including project setup, transition, ongoing service delivery and event driven changes
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders (internal and external)
  • Participate and contribute on daytoday client meetings
  • Manage engagement governance
  • Management of the EY Network
  • Support and develop junior members of the team
  • Supervision of the offshore delivery team in India
  • Identify opportunities for additional EY services
  • Assisting with proposals including pricing, proposal materials and technology demonstrations

To qualify for the role you must have

  • Experience working on multicountry projects
  • Experience in clientfacing roles interfacing with executive stakeholders
  • Project management skills to plan and prioritise work, as well as meet deadlines
  • Ability to build strong client relationships and committed to delivery of exceptional client service
  • Strong and motivated team player; ability to integrate with new teams quickly
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a proven ability to adapt your message to different audiences
  • Experience supervising teams

Ideally, you'll also have

  • Excellent MS Excel and Word capability
  • This role does not specifically require tax or accounting qualifications or experience, but previous experience in these areas would be beneficial
