WHERE DOES THIS ROLE FIT WITHIN TED'S TEAM?


Reporting into the Senior Digital Content & Merchandising Coordinator, you will be executing the content and online merchandising across your department.

You will be working in partnership with the Digital Trading team and collaboratively with stakeholders across the business to ensure all customer journeys are optimised to offer the best balance of brand awareness, user experience and commerciality.


MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Content Management

  • Work collaboratively with the team to ensure the trading plan is properly executed alongside creative assets
  • Organising imagery updates once new collections have launched from template pages across global websites, and check for images that may need updating or editing.
  • Completing daily site walkthroughs to flag immediate problems and make relevant changes.
  • Assisting with bug fixing, identification of website issues and liaise with Digital Trade support and web development teams on projects and tasks.
  • Ensure all content is balanced to meet both commercial and brand requirements, delivering the best experience for the customer.
Online Visual Merchandising

  • Support with the publication and online visual merchandising of all products, including category selection, attribution, visual merchandising, internal search, facet and filters, recommendations, and navigation. Take care to ensure the right product is surfaced at every step of the customer journey
  • Create and review category edits to create strong customer centric stories that drive brand engagement, as requested.
  • Maintain New In categories and other continuous category edits. Ensure these pages are visually appealing to the customer whilst still working closely with trade to establish key commercial focuses for each category.
  • Help maintain the visual merchandising rules across global websites.
Trade & Reporting

  • Support the team to analyse and make improvements to the customer experience and user journey on the site identifying opportunities to improve web performance.
  • Analyse and create basic reports, collating data based on consumer trends.
  • Identifying outdated copy and imagery improvements and feeding back to the team
  • Complete weekly site walkthroughs across global sites and competitor sites, making improvements for onsite standards (E.g, banners, snippets, housekeeping) and customer journey.
Working Collaboratively

  • Build strong relationships with the trading team
  • Work collaboratively with stakeholders across the business including CRM and digital marketing to ensure all customer journeys are seamless
  • Work closely with SEO lead and translators to ensure content is localised and optimised for all markets

PERSONAL TRAITS

  • Preferable to have come from a varied and handson digital trade background, ideally within retail
  • Demonstrate confidence using content management systems, product management systems and visual merchandising tools. Basic HTML skills useful but not essential
  • Competent with Excel and comfortable dealing with large data sets
  • Able to use information from multiple sources to make decisions
  • Highly organised and processdriven
  • Understanding commercial and customer outcomes from decisionmaking
  • Adaptable and resilience in a changing environment
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and manage multiple projects
  • Drive, enthusiasm and passion for the brand
