About the Role -


You can become a successful Waste-Water Jetting Technician
, if you have a great work ethic, problem-solving skills, listening, critical thinking, teamworking abilities and a customer focussed approach.

Also, as you need to operate machinery, excellent hand-eye coordination and concentration are essential skills.

To work in the Utilities industry, you may have to compete with the weather outdoors.

Protective clothing such as a hi-vis jacket, boots, and a helmet are mandatory requirements which are provided, and you may be asked to travel to different sites.


Location:
Preston, Bamber Bridge


Salary:
£10.50 per hour
basic + shift uplift + overtime (up to 35k per year)


Hours of work: 50 hours per week, Monday - Friday (days)


Responsibilities - but not limited to:

  • All aspects of Jetting works, high pressure jetting
  • On site investigations
  • Relaying all information back onto the system as well as photos and CCTV footage
  • Competent in using an electronic device laptop / tablet for data entry purposes
  • Excellent housekeeping, whilst adhering to all health and safety policies and procedures
  • Ensuring safety issues are reported in line with Company procedures
  • Being very hands on operating machinery

Experience and qualifications require for the role:

  • Full UK driving licence

- Experience of working in jetting preferable, but training will be given

  • Excellent listening and communication skills
  • Competent in IT, accurate data entry
  • Team player
  • Positive, cando attitude
  • Ability to multitask
  • Ability to work to deadlines, and be reactive to the business needs
  • Physical fitness, with lots of energy
