Working hours:

Monday to Thursday
Friday
Weekend hrs Saturday / Sunday)

Weekend rota 1:- days off will be given in the week - this includes all weekends and Bank Holidays.

Require a Senior Social work to be on site at the hospital each day to attend board rounds, participate in MDT meetings and facilitate discharges from hospital.

Support to junior staff and line manager.
Some travel maybe required to complete assessments in the community following discharge.

Skill
- (HCC)

Degree or equivalent level of experience Specific qualification requirement (if applicable):

Professional qualification in Social Work (Diploma in Social Work, BA/BSc/MA in Social Work, CQSW as required by Social Work England).

- (HCC) Use of professional judgement to determine needs of people balanced against risk to the individual, staff and carers.
- (HCC) A full and deep understanding of the relevance of key legislation, such as the Care Act, Mental Capacity Act, and Human Rights Act, for the professional role of an Occupational Therapist.
- (HCC) A knowledge and commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of vulnerable adults
- (HCC) A knowledge and understanding of equality and diversity issues.
- (HCC)

A through working knowledge of legislation and how it impacts on the role including:

the Mental Capacity Act 2005, Best Interest, Deprivation of Liberty, Care Act 2014, Mental Health Act 1995, and the Human Rights Act 1998.

Qualification/Certification
