Electrical Assessor/Training Advisor

Are you thinking about a change in career yet don't want to start again and waste all of those years of knowledge & experience you have gained?

If so, we have an exciting vacancy for an Electrical Assessor / Training Advisor. You will work with our apprentices, supporting them through their training and qualifications.

You will visit sites to assess students in their workplace and help them to build a portfolio of evidence to demonstrate that they have reached the standard required of an electrician.

Good communication skills and working on your own initiative are essential for this role. You will liaise with apprentices, employers and Rebus staff to ensure that apprentices have the best possible career start.


Tutor support and benefits:

    £ £38000 linked to your existing skills & qualifications
  • Subject to funding availability and meeting eligibility criteria, a financial incentive payment of
    £3000 will be paid at the end of year 1 and
    £3000 at the end of year 34 days paid leave rising to
    38 days (inc bank holidays)
  • Flexible time off in lieu arrangement
  • A structured training plan to help you succeed and give you the confidence to teach others
  • Assessor training will also be provided at
    Level 3. Subject to funding availability and meeting eligibility criteria, teacher training will be provided at
    Level 3 and
    Level 5.

Assessor requirements:

  • Practising Electrician with a minimum of
    5 years of experience:

  • NVQ 3 qualified or Apprenticeship trained
  • A team player with a willingness to learn
  • Excellent communication skills
The Electrical Assessor's salary is based on a 39-hour week.
