Description

This role is within a paper recycling facility based in Birmingham.

This role is based outside within a yard environment.

Experience working in the Recycling Industry is preferred for this role.

There is a requirement to operate FLT with clamps.

Experience with moffat /bobcat/ JCB is desirable addition.

The role also has a requirement for hands on manual labour.
Sorting paper and card when required.

To comply with all Smurfit Kappa Recycling Safe Systems of Work (SSWs) and Risk Assessments (RAs).
To operate all baling equipment including resolving any issues which arise.
To present material for sale which may require hand sorting.
To ensure quality of all material processed.
To load and unload vehicles using clamp and forklift trucks.
To comply with all health and safety requirements, ensuring all colleagues and visitors operate in a safe manner whilst on site, and highlight any issues to the Production Manager in a timely manner

Salary:
£23,000.00-£24,500.00 per year
