We are currently looking to recruit an Aircraft Planner.


The main purpose of the role, together with a small team, is to engineer, create, maintain and load maintenance and modification work cards that enable work identified via customer Orders & Technical Data to be carried out, meeting commercial, customer, regulatory, schedule, technical data and configuration control requirements.

What we are looking for:

  • Engineer, create, maintain and load maintenance and modification work cards that enable work identified via customer Orders & Technical Data to be carried out, meeting commercial, customer, regulatory, schedule, technical data and configuration control requirements.
  • Participate in the production of a schedule of all required maintenance and modification tasks, including out of phase maintenance, incoming aircraft defect planning, any customer CAMO directed tasks, etc.
  • Maintain oversight of ongoing planned maintenance / modification and provide guidance on any adjustments to key stakeholders on the maintenance / modification plan.
  • In consultation with the Aircraft Operations Team and the delegated Programme Manager, update, amend and maintain the aircraft timeline during the Pre
  • Input Planning process. If significant changes are required during the aircraft maintenance input, update the timeline to reflect changes and advise aircraft teams and programme management.
  • Be an active part of the Pre-Input Maintenance Meetings (PIP's), Schedule Reviews, Milestone Reviews and aircraft Lessons-Learned meetings.
  • In addition to the primary role, support our Engineering function in the concept, design and implementation phases of modification programmes including but not limited to Support Design Reviews, reviewing design and suggesting improvements, etc.

Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of aircraft systems acquired through advanced formal training or relevant industry experience.
  • ONC Level or 'A' Levels in jobrelated discipline may be included, or equivalent advanced craft
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written to be able to present reports and presentations
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Working knowledge of ERP/MRP systems desirable.
