Job description

The Degree Apprenticeships Team at Leeds Beckett are pleased to offer the post of Degree Apprenticeship Administrator.

What the day-to-day will include:

You will work with colleagues in the team and colleagues in the wider academic teams providing critical administrative and project support for the delivery of apprenticeships programmes.

This support is critical to the ongoing successful recruitment, delivery, completion and achievement of our apprenticeship programmes.

The role holder will also be expected to provide outstanding levels of customer service to both internal & external stakeholders.

What you'll gain:

We recognise you will have excellent transferable skills; you will have evidenceable administrative skills or prior administrative experience, and this role will support you to develop those skills and gain specialist knowledge with apprenticeship programme recruitment and delivery.

This role will be a great opportunity to build your experience and skills in teamwork, communicating effectively, working with diverse stakeholders, and using data and information to report back on progress.

You will be trained and supported to use our apprenticeships system, Aptem. You will be supported by a line manager and have a personalised development and training plan to work through.

The Team:

You'll be working within Business Engagement as part of the dynamic Degree Apprenticeships Team.

An exciting fast paced and adaptive environment, we are collaborative, inclusive, value our apprentices, employer partners, colleagues in our apprenticeships team, service, and wider apprenticeships team, in our academic and support teams across the University.

We work with integrity, we are pragmatic, ambitious and we work with purpose.

The culture:

Let's tell you about the way we work.

You'll be part of a wider team culture that encourages a flexible approach, embraces innovation and empowers colleagues to showcase their expertise, guided by the goals of the team and the university.

If you're excited by the prospect of supporting apprentices to achieve their potential and to work with an ever growing and diverse portfolio of national, regional, and local employers then it would be great to hear from you.

Working here means you'll also have access to a wide range of benefits including our generous pension schemes, excellent holiday entitlements, flexible working, reduced study fees, subsidised fitness facilities and a lot more.
