We have an opportunity for a Process Technologist to join our Development team in Hamilton.

The Process Technologist will work as part of the development team to support the delivery of development strategy and process capability expansion and process innovation.
This role is based in Hamilton, however a willingness to travel is required as the Process Technologist may occasionally visit our other sites.
They'll work closely with a friendly and engaging team from both a site and group perspective, offering opportunities for growth and long-term career development.
This is what you'll actually do
As the Process Technologist you will trial and embed new products, processes and equipment into plant through data analysis and documentation.
You will take control of raw materials and packaging required for trials and testing and manage customer interactions and expectations as required.
You will have a developing understanding and adhere to HSE, GMP and food safety standards across all Scottish Cake sites and support the co-ordination of all relevant input / output information to review with the relevant teamsIdeally this is you
- _Degree preferred Food science / technology or similar degree / HND equivalent or relevant experience _
- _Knowledge and interest of Food_
- _Excellent communication skills_
- _Computer literate - computer skills and knowledge of word and excel systems _
- _Basic or above Food hygiene_
