General Ledger Accounts Assistant
Murray Group have an opportunity for a knowledgeable and enthusiastic individual to join our team in a varied and challenging General Accounts role that is centralized at our Head Office in Plymouth.
Working within an Accounts framework of 12 people, you will be a part of our General Ledger section working with one of our Management Accountants and another Assistant.
The General Ledger team are responsible for:
- Processing daily bank statements
- Issuing daily vehicle customer payments log
- Payroll processing
- Processing of standard monthly journal entries including payroll
- Processing vehicle invoices and reconciling customer accounts
- Full accounting and reporting for our TPS Centre
- Analytical reports
- Processing fuel claims
- Preparation of Finance & Insurance trackers
- Fixed Asset processing and reconciliation
- Authorising BACS payments
- Preparation of VAT returns
Pay:
£26,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
