This role sits within the Risk and Resilience Team, which is part of a wider Quality and Risk function.
The role will suit an experienced practitioner who has been a member of an in-house team, but is now ready for their next challenge and opportunity to grow by taking responsibility for managing, maintaining and improving an established operational resilience framework.
- You will be responsible for providing ongoing support and guidance to the firm's Service Lines, Central Client Service Functions and Locations in all aspects of Operational Resilience, and driving continuous improvement in the firm's Resilience capability.
The role will involve working with stakeholders at all levels of seniority to ensure Operational Resilience requirements are understood and met, and that the firm delivers against its commitment to, and increased expectations of, the industry, stakeholders, clients and regulators.
- This role has a significant degree of autonomy, with the opportunity to make the operational resilience programme the role holder's own. This is a full time role and we're happy to talk flexible working to support you to balance your work and life.
As Operational Resilience Lead within our Risk and Resilience Team, you will:
- Advise and influence, in line with the firms CLEARR values, Grant Thornton's senior management and other stakeholders on response, contingency and continuity strategy development.
Knowing you're right for us
- Joining us as Operational Resilience Lead, the minimum you'll need is demonstrable experience in Business Continuity Management or Operational Resilience, experience in creating and delivering exercising and validation from Strategic to Operational levels, and the ability to build positive relationships and work collaboratively with team colleagues, a remote network of risk champions, and stakeholders across the firm. You'll also need an ability to work independently and with a high level of autonomy, to be comfortable working with all levels of management, and to have knowledge of ISO 22301 and the BCI Good Practice Guidelines.
